Definition: Corner fitting

Category: Transport

Fixed points usually located at the top and bottom corners of a container into which
twistlocks or other devices engage to enable the container to be lifted, stacked, secured.
These fittings are increasingly used on swap bodies, although not on the corners but
at points which are compatible with 20 or 40 feet container corner fittings.
