Definition: Quasi-corporation

Category: ESA 1995

Quasi-corporations keep a complete set of accounts and have no independent legal status. However, they have an economic and financial behaviour that is different from that of their owners and similar to that of corporations. Therefore they are deemed to have autonomy of decision and are considered as distinct institutional units. http://ec.europa.eu/eurostat/product?code=CA-15-96-001&mode=view
