The Standard International Classification of Tourism Activities (SICTA) is an ecomic classification of tourist activities seen from the supply point of view and based on the ISIC Rev. 3 and CPC. It breaks down those fourth-level ISIC classes which are linked to tourist activities. 

Objectives: to construct a basic conceptual structure providing a direction for building up a consistent, global and objective system for the production, organisation and communication of statistical information on tourism. 

Content: economic activities related to tourism, such as construction, the distributive trades, hotels and restaurants, transport, financial intermediation, real estate activities, entrepreneurial activities, etc.
