Definition: Household and sanitary papers

This covers a wide range of tissue and other hygienic papers for use in households or commercial and industrial premises. Products in this category are generally manufactured in strips or rolls of a width exceeding 36 cm or in rectangular sheets with one side exceeding 36 cm and the other exceeding 15 cm in the unfolded state. Examples are toilet paper and facial tissues, kitchen towels, hand towels and industrial wipes.
