Category: Research and development
The regional total R&D personnel comprises all persons employed directly on R&D in a region, as well as those providing direct services such as R&D managers, administrators and clerical staff. This indicator can be broken down by institutional sector and/or by occupation. Regional statistics on total R&D personnel should be collected in both dimensions, full-time equivalents and head counts.
