Definition: Passenger-kilometre offered

A passenger-kilometre is offered when one unit of passenger capacity is sailed one kilometre.

Note: Passenger-kilometres offered are equal to the sum of the products obtained by multiplying the authorised passenger capacity of the vessel and the port-to-port distance for all journeys.
