Definition: Output of the agricultural industry

The output of the agricultural industry thus results from two kinds of activity: (i) agricultural activities (main or secondary) performed by agricultural units; (ii) non-agricultural secondary activities of agricultural units. In accordance with the definition of the output of the agricultural industry (cf. 1.11.3.), the output of the agricultural industry is made up of the sum of the output of agricultural products (cf. 2.28.1. to 2.28.3.) and of the goods and services produced in inseparable non-agricultural secondary activities (cf. 2.29.1. to 2.29.3.). http://ec.europa.eu/eurostat/ramon/statmanuals/files/KS-27-00-782-__-I-EN.pdf
