The average pure alcohol  per capita available on the market in a country is defined as the total amount of pure ethanol in spirits, wine and beer sold / consumed in the country during the calendar year or calculated from official statistics on local production, import and export taking into account stocks and home production, whenever available. This amount is divided by the average-year population.
