Definition: Mean age of women at first birth by generation
Category: Demography
This indicator is calculated in a similar way to the mean age of women at childbearing by generation, i.e. by adding the rates of first-order births by age reached for each of the calendar years lived by the same generation from the beginning of their childbearing years. In each instance the number of first births to women of the age in question is related to the number of women of that age. http://ec.europa.eu/eurostat/ramon/statmanuals/files/KS-CC-03-005-EN.pdf
