Life insurance enterprises take up and pursue the self-employed activity of direct insurance covering the following risks of insurance where they are on a contractual basis: life assurance, assurance on survival to a stipulated age only, assurance on death only, marriage assurance, birth assurance, etc. annuities, supplementary insurance, permanent health insurance or in the following operations when they are on a contractual basis: tontines, capital redemption operations, management of group pension funds, etc.
