Definition: Net social contributions

Actual or imputed contributions made by households to social insurance schemes to make provision for social benefits to be paid. Net social contributions consist of: 

employers' actual social contributions 
plus employers' imputed social contributions,
plus households' actual social contributions ,
plus households' social contribution supplements ,
