Definition: International fare receipts
Category: Tourism
International fare receipts are defined as all payments made to the carriers registered in the compiling country of sums owed by non-resident visitors, whether or not they are travelling in that country. (This category corresponds to "transportation, passenger services, credits" in the standard reporting form of the IMF. However, for tourism purposes we are only interested in the part generated by visitors).
