Definition: Anticipated old age pension

Periodic payments intended to maintain the income of beneficiaries who retire before the legal/standard age as established in the relevant scheme. This may occur with or without a reduction of the normal pension.

This definition is identical in versions 1996, 2008 and 2011 of the Manual.
