Final energy consumption – industry covers the consumption in all industrial sectors with the exception of the "Energy sector" (see Code B_101300). This refers to fuel quantities consumed by the industrial undertaking in support of its primary activities. For heat only or CHP plants, only quantities of fuels consumed for the production of heat by autoproducers are applicable. Quantities of fuels consumed for the production of heat that is sold, for the production of electricity, and the quantities of coke transformed into blast-furnace gas should be reported under the appropriate Transformation sector.
