The European Statistical Advisory Committee (ESAC) ensures that user requirements as well as the response burden on information providers and producers are taken into account in developing the Statistical Programmes. It delivers its opinion on the Multiannual Statistical Programme, addressing in particular its relevance to the requirements of European integration.
