Definition: Late reporter
Category: Business statistics
With reference to the use of administrative data for statistical purposes, an administrative unit that submitted a statement (e.g. VAT return, social security declaration, etc.) too late – even if meeting the set deadline – to make its data usable to produce preliminary estimates. Late reporters’ data are used to produce revised estimates. http://www.cros-portal.eu/sites/default/files//SGA%202011_Deliverable_1.1.pdf
