Definition: Guest arrival/departure
Category: Tourism
A guest arrival/departure is defined as a person who arrives at/leaves a collective accommodation establishment or private tourism accommodation and checks in/out. Because tourists arrive at and leave from an accommodation establishment within a relatively short time, there is statistically not much difference between the numbers of arrivals and departures. The arrivals of non-tourists (refugees, guests on medical referral, etc.) should be counted separately, if possible.
