Category: SNA

Work-in-progress consists of output produced by an enterprise that is not yet sufficiently processed to be in a state in which it is normally supplied to other institutional units (SNA 2008, § 10.134).

Work-in-progress is essentially incomplete output that is not yet marketable: that is, output that is not sufficiently processed to be in a state in which it can easily be supplied or sold to other institutional units (SNA 1993, § 6.72) http://ec.europa.eu/eurostat/ramon/statmanuals/files/SNA2008.pdf United Nations, "System of National Accounts (SNA) 1993", United Nations, New York, 1993
