Definition: Farm work

Category: Agriculture - EU legislation

Every type of work on the agricultural holding which contributes to either:

(i) the activities defined in Article 2 a) of Regulation (EU) 2018/1091
(ii) maintaining the means of production; or 
(iii) the activities directly derived from these productive actions (Regulation (EU) 2018/1874).

Every type of work on the holding which contributes to either 

(i) the activities as defined in Annex I to the Regulation (EC) No 1166/2008; or 
(ii) the maintenance of the means of production; or
