Definition: Exposure (Causal agent)

This is the agent or exposure factor that caused the occupational disease. Information on exposure should be classified in accordance with the classification developped by Eurostat. The classification is structured according to 6 major groups of exposure factors : chemical agents, physical agents, biological agents, biomechanical exposure factors, physiological exposure factors, industrial exposure factors, material and products.
