Definition: Batch data review

Category: UN - Data editing terminology

A review of many questionnaires in one batch occurs after data entry. It generally results in a file of error messages. This file may be printed for use in preparing corrections. The data records may be split into two files. One file contains the "good" records and one containing data records with errors. The other file can be corrected using an interactive process. http://www1.unece.org/stat/platform/display/kbase/Glossary
